Update - 7/12:

After five days of calling and leaving messages, I finally managed to get in contact with Dr. Stone’s office. Unfortunately, the experience was even worse than I expected. When the receptionist answered the phone on Friday, 7/12, around 1:30 PM, she was completely dismissive and rudely rushed me to state the reason for my call.

When I explained my situation, she falsely claimed that Walgreens never sent the order request, which I know is untrue because I watched them make the request. She then quickly fulfilled my request and sent the medication but rudely ushered me off the phone afterwards.

Waiting a week to hear back from my doctor’s office is unacceptable, and the rude, unprofessional behavior of the receptionist was the final straw. This office and its staff are in shambles, and I will definitely be switching primary care doctors.

Initial Review on 7/11: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Stone ever since moving to FL a number of months ago and have generally had no issues with him personally. Unfortunately, my recent experience with his office has been extremely frustrating.

I’m currently on vacation and will be for another week, and I left my medication at home (which I take responsibility for and recognize is my fault). However, all week, I’ve been calling the office every day at different times, leaving messages to explain my situation and to check if they’ve responded to Walgreens’ request to prescribe my medication at the location I’m visiting. Despite my efforts, I haven’t received any response from the office.

Walgreens where I’m vacationing was kind enough to offer me three emergency pills without a prescription and has repeatedly requested Dr. Stone’s office to authorize releasing more, but they’ve also received no response. I don’t know whether it’s the staff or a technical issue, but this lack of communication is unacceptable. Not answering calls for one day is bad enough, but four days with no follow-up to multiple messages is beyond frustrating.

Sadly, this isn’t my first poor experience with the office staff, who seem to have a high turnover rate, which I had chosen to overlook previously. This time, however, it’s pushing me to find a new primary care doctor. While my medication isn’t immediately life-threatening, the lack of response makes me worry about what would happen if I needed a more critical medication.

It’s disheartening that I have to consider changing doctors because of the office staff and their inability to manage basic communication. Once I return from vacation, I will be looking for a new primary care doctor.

Had to wait 3 months to finally get an appointment and when I finally went to the doctor was extremely dismissed with my situation. I have been struggling for several months with my health and came to this office for results. I asked to speak to the doctor several times and the front desk completely didn’t want to help me out with that. This is such an unprofessional office and you can tell neither the doctor or other staff care for their patients. Worse experience I have had in my life and don’t recommend this place for anyone.

Please please pleaseee do not go to this doctor's office. I do not write reviews. I do not spend time on giving my opinion, but today, I have time.

Dr.Stone as a doctor is ok, on a scale of 1-10 like a 5. He's like that uncle at family parties that got into medical school back in the 70's-80's and uses the same rhetoric of telling all the younger family members, "drink water & rest". He will listen to you and give his opinion, but has 0 knowledge on women's health, chronic illnesses, or anything modern.

I would treat his office like a slight upgrade of an urgent care.

His office staff is actually, the worse people, in health care.

Except his phlebotomist, hands of an angel.

People are naturally granted autonomy for their own bodies. You as the patient HAVE THE RIGHT to request any type of test, doctor, and medicine - especially if you have been dealing with an illness or health issue for more than 6 months. That makes the situation chronic.

His office staff likes to remove autonomy from their patients by rejecting medical requests, using phrases like "we know what's best for you" and "you're not a doctor". Let it be known, none of his office staff are remotely, closely, nor subliminally qualified to "reject medical requests" as they do not have your body.

Dr.Stone's office is a pitstop office doctor before finding your actual primary doctor.

Please continue to advocate for your health.

If you're under the age of 45, do not go here.
If you're over 70+ you might like it here.
If you're 90+, you'll fit right in!

I've been a patient at this office for some time now, and I've always had positive experiences until recently. There have been noticeable changes that have affected the quality of service (not the same people working ) . For instance, I received a bill indicating a no-show fee for an appointment that I never even scheduled.

In the past, the office was diligent about reminding patients of upcoming appointments, but this time, I didn't receive any notification. When I inquired about it, I was informed that they provide reminder cards upon departure and make courtesy calls the day before, but this was not the case for me. Additionally, I discovered that my test results were available online through Quest, as I was never contacted by the office.

Despite these recent issues, I believe Dr. Stone is an excellent doctor. However, I hope the office addresses these shortcomings and restores the level of service that I have come to expect.

After I called the office and the billing place they still didn’t fix their error .
I hope they don’t keep doing this to people.

Kimberly that takes phone calls and prescriptions requests is the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with in the medical field she should be retrained in costumer care and has no place in healthcare maybe try working at the DMV if she can improve her attitude!

I ask for refills for my medication for blood pressure and cholesterol. They refilled stating it’s 6 months medication per visit, they refilled one prescription not the other. I called again and was told it’s only 3 months per visit. Instead of apologizing for misunderstanding the rudeness of the front desk lead to the inability to take accountability. I’m fine with rules. I’m not okay with rudeness. Dr. Stone is as much to blame for allowing all these bad reviews! Horrendous management of his office.

The office staff is the laziest and incompetent staff ever encountered. A one star rating is too high. Getting a referral from them with a month notice wasn’t enough time. I called the morning before my appointment to pick up my referral they told me they had it ready. When I went there to pick it up they said they didn’t have it and then said I never called to confirm. Now I must wait another month to see a specialist. Worse experience with a Doctor’s office staff EVER!
