went back in may to the ER for pain in my stomach and not being able to keep my food down.
Sure, they werent quick in finding me a room or diagnosing what i had but the drs and nurses sure as hell went to work running tests and labs.
Once they were able to figure out what was wrong and it was certain i needed to be an inpatient i got a room two hours after.
in the inpatient part the nurses and drs were nice and always checked on me.
The day before my surgery my surgeon came to me and updated me on the procedure and what it entailed. the day of my surgery went great (i had my gallbladder removed) 10/10 would recommend.

Come to this office at 2:30, appointment at 3 with Dr BORISIAK. left the office at 4:30 after sitting down waiting for this Doctor who was a no show. Instead of coming to my room, she went to a different room with patient that came around the same time my appointment was scheduled. I told the front desk, the Dr was a no show, they kept saying she would be there, and I waited. She didn’t bother calling or even have her staff calling, but put in my chart that i left. Having me in the room for almost 2 hours, is crazy. Idk who was in charge of her schedule or if she doesn’t care about her patient. Either way that something that need changing.

I recently had outpatient surgery at this facility and I have to be honest, I was not looking forward to it based on past hospital experiences. What a pleasant surprise this time around, from check-in to discharge. Everyone was attentive, caring and extremely professional. Very grateful to all the staff on duty during my stay, not only because how they treated me, but because of how they kept my wife reassured throughout the process. So glad I made the drive to Plantation instead of going to my local hospital.

My husband went into the er at 3:30am they said they were looking for a room (inpatient room)by about 6am while still doing the tests in the er. We were getting fed up and ready to sign an ada to leave at 5:30pm while still in the er just to be told we're ok to be discharged. Within those 13 or so hours we saw staff in the room about 4 times. They tested his sugar and he needs to not have, and for lunch they gave carbohydrates (that the body turns to sugar) and a soda. The doctors were nice, but also dismissive.

Go to any other hospital.

I was in this Hospital for a week, I had a horrible experience. I was in th ER for 12 hours without a drink or food,or a gown stayed in street clothes I understand the food but not the beverage or water , after begging for hours I got a small container of jello . I was suspected to have spinal Menengitis. They ask my permission to do a spinal tap & I refused. Then first thing in the morning the infectious disease guy says we won't know how to treat you if we don't rule out Menengitis.
They transferred me into a private room in the hall off from the ER in which they placed me in a pediatric size bed so I had to stay curled up the entire time. The IV machine beeped the entire time. And a nurse came in , I had the lights turned off due to a migraine, she yells at me because I was laying on the IV hose. Excuse me!
So an exray tech comes in & says we are taking you to XRay for the spinal tap , they give me some details but I don't think the girl really knew much. So I get to XRay and they ask me to change in front of a window which the blinds are up! Ask me to get on a hard table and before & during preparation there is a lot of small talk about Cuba etc... the doctor had a doctor friend observe the procedure without my aproval .
I cried during the procedure , no one cared, then the doctor tells the tech (a girl ) that I have to lay flat for 3 hours & her question to the doctor is can she walk to her bed in the hallway? Are you kidding me. The doctor says no & tells her why. IF one tiny drop of spinal fluid leaks she will have a massive headache. So she helps me onto the bed laid flat & a guy says I'll roll her to the room, we get to the room and the guy starts to put the head of the bed up OMG such ignorance! A doctor comes in & does the same thing. Rediculous!
The nurses wouldn't listen to me when I told them I felt relief from the injection of what they first gave me so my head continued to pound.
Was in my clothes from working more than 24 hours. Then got to the room and although I didn't get a full size bed the nurses on the 2nd or 3rd floor made the stay much more tolerable . There is always one nurse who has to be rude but the others made up for her . Now the fun begins , they want blood but I'm dehydrated because of no liquids.
IV antibiotics, had to beg for something for my headache .
I was scheduled to be discharged 4 days later
IV antibiotics, saline & had to beg every day for something for my headache.
I was discharged without a diagnosis, the doctor says" you'll be better before we have a diagnosis. Yeah right !
A week or two later I get a survey, fill it out & ask for someone in administrative to call me , it's July no one has called. I have a friend who is a nurse and she said they never respond to bad reviews
Had private insurance.

BEWARE! IF YOU CAN, DRIVE TO A REAL HOSPITAL/ER. ER has no administrative staff or structure. If you’re having a medical issue, you might as well call an ambulance since flashing red lights seem to be the only thing that gets the staff to act. ER is designed to keep nurses from interacting with patients or having to maintain an efficient workplace. The time frame on emergencies and standard procedures is 3 hours plus.

My bf has been to this hospital multiple times has a known history for cardiac problems he has had 4 heart purcedures. He has 8 heart stints. We were made to wait doctors are very un knowledgeable and rude. They wouldn't give him his normal recommended pain meds even thought he has a know condition have been to this hospital many times. Dr shirley was the doctor in charge she came to the room to speak with us and basically in so many words called my bf an oppiet addict and proceeded to say that he is misusing drugs which is completely untrue. She than proceed to say that he needs to seek pain management which makes no sense you are trying to insinuate that Someone is hooked on drugs but recommending more. She proceeded to be rude raise her voice until I kicked her outta his room. I went to the nurses station and tried to see who was in charge she comes out from the back and blamed the entire argument on me and started to yell at me more and raise her voice I've never been more disrespected or had someone in a medical setting be more Incompitent or more unprofessional In my life. Avoid this hospital at all cost
